CITY PARK

City Park is a beautiful spot near the heart of our city. For decades it has entertained young and old alike, and also serves as the yearly home for our award-winning, world-renowned and volunteer-driven Cave City Watermelon Festival.

Here you'll find playgrounds, walking tracks, tennis and basketball courts, horseshoe pits, a number of small and large pavilions with camp grills, and our family fishing pond, complete with a fountain and friendly ducks. We are adding to it each year, so there's always more to see and do!

CITY POOL AND SPLASH PAD

Since 1972, Cave City has been proud to offer a 90,000 gallon recreational pool and splash pad to our residents, and we hope you’ll visit soon! We're typically open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. For more information, or to book a party, contact City Hall at (870) 283-5455.

VETERANS MEMORIAL PARK

The newest addition to our park system is the Veterans Memorial Park, located beside City Hall and in front of the "Welcome to Cave City" sign at the corner of Main St. and E. Spring St. In 2018 local leaders embarked on a project to build a lasting memorial that will honor all past and present veterans with ties to the community. The site hosts a large granite monument with veteran names, flags, benches, picnic tables, and other features; a gathering place for people to visit, reflect, and be thankful for the good life we're able to live thanks to those who have served and sacrificed on our behalf. To have a name added to the monument, please download the form listed under the resources link at the top of the site.
